For applications in medical technology, vibration-reducing systems are needed above all when vibrations have a negative impact on patients. A typical example is targeted reduction of vibrations of gurneys in ambulances. The semi-active and energy-efficient attenuators work well with battery power, and can therefore be used in prostheses.

The above examples share a common goal: to isolate environmental vibrations in the best possible way. In this context, one can speak of so-called receiver insulation. Due to the outstandingly rapid response capability of a smart PID system, one can decouple vibrations over a wide frequency range.
Further applications of FLUDICON's technology are in the area of rehabilitation (rehab). This includes all the “weightlifting” and regeneration training devices required for recovery after a fracture. Even in the gym, smart PID systems can be used: for example, to introduce innovative training equipment to the market.
